Event Recap: #8 at Spoke.ai
And what is a meetup nowadays without an AI talk? So Jack Lancaster showed us how to build #AI #products. He shared 10 learnings from Spoke.ai - one very important one for me: Chat is probably not the right interface for your AI product! Think more about your user experience in AI. One good note: Trust is a big issue when it comes to AI user experience. How can you gain your users trust in your product? The slides give you some tips.

Our first speaker of #8: “Being home for products, teams, and you,” Jack Lancaster, Co-founder & CPO at Spoke.ai shared the team’s 10 hot learnings on how to build AI products, including choosing the right AI functionality, choosing the right interface, and making AI experiences proactive. Check out his presentation slides for the full breakdown!
In addition to overseeing product at Spoke, Jack also hosts 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, sharing stories from incredible fellow product builders, such as designers, PMs, data scientists, and engineers. Check out the latest episode, to learn about common challenges and how to communicate better in teams!
Malte Scholz gave a wide-ranging presentation on the merits of a customer-centric, problem-oriented and data-driven approach to product management at airfocus. Loved hearing about the practical takeaways to put the learnings into practice. Great to finally connect in person while you were in town! 🤝

We were so fortunate to learn about the 3 non-negotiables of product management, actionable product strategy, customer-centricity, empowered product teams, and the current state of product management with our second speaker, Malte Scholz, Co-founder, CEO & CPO at airfocus.
Check out his slides on Navigating Product Strategy, Customer Focus and Execution.
Event Recap: #9 at Remerge
Our first speaker at #9: “Building Roadmaps and Strategies for Mobile Apps,” Louis Brutton, Director Analytical Products at Remerge discussed how we can measure the value of improved measurement and improve our decision making as PMs. From defining what to measure and exploring case studies of different analytical products, he provides a few steps to get started in the right direction.
Our second speaker, Imad Jawad, Head of Product, Marketplace at FREENOW had a more human-centric approach on which skills to acquire as a PM and how to navigate the challenges presented by assessing one’s self-knowledge, establishing the environment, and creating the best attitude to move forward in order to find the best competency to work within.
Missed the event?
By popular request, you have asked us to record our bpm meetup events, and fortunately, Remerge was able to provide a video recording of #9.
